The C45 steel is a moderate carbon grade. The C45 Plate is designed to consist of a superior content of nickel and chromium, giving the plate superior resistance to corrosive and reducing media across different conditions. The versatile C45 Steel Plate has enhanced machinability with outstanding weldability. These plates have excellent strength and superior load-bearing capacity in different systems. They are generally made with thickness above 6mm and can extend up to 100mm as per requirements. The C-45 Steel Plate exhibits moderate strength and can be easily shaped in different configurations. These features make these plates an ideal option for producing crankshafts.
Designed with a hardness between 170 to 210 Brinell, these modules have excellent impact resistance and protection against dents and deformations. The EN 10083 C45e Sheet is designed in thickness below 6mm, but above 0.5mm. These versatile sheets add an aesthetical appeal to the module and can be utilized in general engineering of structural steel components. The sheets can be customized in a wide range of shapes and sizes to meet different customer needs.
The C45 Material is designed with superior mechanical properties and strengths. They have a tensile strength of 700 to 850mpa with a minimum yield strength of 490mpa. The items of this grade can be easily elongated by 14% in the system. C45 Steel Vs En8
Carbon alloyed steels such as C45 and En8 . C-45 Plates are equivalent to En8 Plates, but there are some differences between the two categories.
- EN 10083 C45e Sheet has a superior chemical composition that includes nickel and chromium, which aren't found in the En8 grade. Rectangular C45 Steel Plates have superior corrosion and oxidation resistance in stress-induced conditions as a result of this.
- Over the En8 material grade, C45 Carbon Steel Plates have higher tensile and yield strength.
- The C45 Sheet has a slightly higher carbon content than the En8 grade, giving it a slightly higher hardness.
