EN-10025-2 steel is a high-strength structural grade. The EN-10025-2 Steel Plate is designed with a superior composition of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, and nitrogen. The content embedded in these plates gives them enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media. The Standard En 10025 grade exhibits outstanding strength and superior load-bearing capacity. EN-10025-2 steel components are designed in 3 grades. Designed with a density of 7.85 g/cm3, the En 10025 S355j2 grade is the strongest grade in this range. The components in this range have a tensile strength between 470 to 630mpa and have minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm2. The En 10025 S355jr is generally pre-formed and sold with definite cross sections, and they are in use for several applications. The common structures of the versatile Bs En 10025 S355j2 grade include I-beams, Z-beams, box lintels, hollow structural sections, etc. These structural steel components are preferred by several engineers as the Bs En 10025 S355jr module maximizes its strength while reducing its weight.
This is the major reason why it is commonly seen in construction applications. The S275jr En 10025 grade is designed to hold moderate pressures. Designed with a yield strength of 275 N/mm2, they have a tensile strength between 370 to 530mpa. En 10025 S235jrg2 is the grade having the lowest strength. The components made from this grade are very durable and can work well in different environments. The S235jrg2 En 10025 grade has a tensile strength between 360 to 510mpa with a yield strength of 235 N/mm2.
