What is Everhard Wear Plate?

Everhard plates are wear-resistant grades designed to provide optimum protection from the elements. The everhard wear plate possesses a superior chemical composition consisting of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, chromium, and molybdenum. The JFE Everhard Plate also has small additives of titanium vanadium and boron with carbon equivalent material in higher grades. The superior concentration in the everhard plate gives these components excellent resistance to tear and wear across stress-induced environments.

The everhard steel plate possesses high toughness due to the enhanced concentration of carbon within these modules. They don’t possess a lot of strength; however, the everhard jfe steel plate performs well in low-temperature systems as these modules can maintain good hardness at these temperatures. In the everhard checker plate the face of the modules is raised, and they show excellent resistance to weld cracking due to good internal hardness.

EVERHARD 450 Plate can be hardened or heat-treated in controlled temperatures to allow these modules to possess good hardness. The JFE EVERHARD C450LE Sheet of this grade is designed in thickness ranging below 6mm but higher than 0.5mm.
