Designated as a superalloy, the Werkstoff Nr. 2.4819 tends to exhibit Excellent corrosion resistance properties in reducing as well as oxidizing environments. These properties of the Hastelloy C276 strips have been chalked up to the addition of nickel content in its alloy.

The combination of attractive metals such as Nickel, chromium and molybdenum makes Hastelloy C276 a high performance alloy that could be used in marine engineering purposes. Resistant to crevice corrosion, the WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4819 Coil can be easily welded as the low carbon grade minimizes carbide precipitation, hence reducing the formation of grain-boundary in the heat-affected zone. The Haynes Alloy C276 Foil provides good insulation to modules it encloses during heat treatment or during normal processing. The modules of the Hastelloy C276 Clad Plate show excellent mechanical properties and are seen in use in chemical processing systems, oil and gas production, waste treatment, etc.

The Hastelloy C276 Hot Rolled Plate is processed at high temperatures in mills, giving them excellent creep resistance and strength across different environments.
