Designed with a specific Brinell hardness between 370-430 HBW, the Quard 400 Plate has a thickness between 4mm up to 50mm.
The superior hardness of this grade is due to tempering and quenching performed on the plate. A quard 450 plate possesses enhanced properties and hardness compared to its predecessor. These plates can be readily elongated by a minimum of 10%. The super-hardened quard 500 plate has a hardness of a minimum of 470 Brinell.
