SA 387 is a high-purity chromium and molybdenum alloy. SA 387 Gr 22 Plate is a component that can endure high pressures and temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius. The SA 387 Grade 22 Plate's high molybdenum and chromium content makes it more resistant to corrosion and oxidation in a variety of stress-induced conditions. The sa 387 gr 22 modules have a higher chemical concentration, making them more resistant to reducing agents. This line of products has excellent weldability and is in high demand all around the world. When compared to normal carbon steel grades, the sa387 22 has a stronger heat resistance.
SA 387 Gr 22 is a high-quality pressure vessel grade. The SA 387 Gr 22 Plate is designed with a good content of chromium and molybdenum, allowing them to have enhanced resistances and tolerances. These plates are designed to withstand high pressures, and elevated temperature systems of up to 600 degrees C. SA 387 Grade 22 Plate resists attacks from reducing acids and oxidative media. These plates are designed in thickness above 6mm and provide strength and stability to a wide range of applications.
The sa 387 gr 22 grade components can be easily machined and welded in place. The items in this grade have higher heat resistance when directly compared to standard carbon steel components. Designed with superior mechanical properties, the sa387 22 grade is designed with a tensile strength between 515mpa to 690mpa. These components can be easily elongated by 18% and have a minimum reduction area of 40% in the system. The components specially, the plates in this range can be formed with a wide range of thickness and sizes to suit different project requirements.
The Astm A387 Gr22 is a standard specification of pressure plates, chromium-molybdenum plates, and alloy steel metals that are subjected to elevated temperatures. The items within this grade are available in classes 1 and 2. A Sa 387 Gr 22 Cl2 is commonly seen in nuclear pressure vessel reactors, heat recovery steam generators, boilers, heat exchangers, gas turbines, thermal power stations, chemical equipment, liquefied petroleum, and so on. The Sa 387 Gr 22 Equivalent Material is ASME SA387, EN 10028 10/11CrMo9-10, DIN 10CrMo9-10, BS 622-515B, AFNOR 36206, 12CD9-10 and Gost 10KH2M. The Astm A387 Grade has two classes: Class 1 and Class 2. Chemically, the SA 387 Gr. 22 Cl. 2 Plates and the grade 1 Plates are nearly identical. Mechanical qualities are the most important distinction between these two components. The SA 387 GR.22 CL.1 Plates have tensile strengths ranging from 415 to 585 MPa.
The yield strength of these plates is 205 MPa. The tensile strength of the ASME SA 387 Grade 22 Class 2 Alloy Steel Plates ranges from 515 to 690 MPa, with a yield strength of 310 MPa. Within this grade, grade 2 components are developed with greater mechanical qualities to typical grade 1 components.
